Hello, and welcome! My name is Jacob Bell, and woodworking is not just my career, but my greatest passion. Since starting my journey in college back in 2015, I have honed my skills and refined my craft to become the woodworker I am today; along with starting my own furniture-making business (Winterton’s Furniture). Established in 2020, it was inspired by the village in Norfolk from which it takes its name.
Woodworking has always been a part of me. The moment I picked up a chisel, I knew that this was my true calling. Over the years, I have dedicated countless hours to perfecting my technique and mastering the art of creating beautiful and functional furniture pieces.
In 2022, my dedication and hard work were recognized as I proudly became a finalist on the renowned Channel 4 show, "Handmade: Britain's Best Woodworker." Competing among the most talented woodworkers in the country was an exhilarating experience that pushed me to new limits, and it only further fueled my desire to continuously improve.
To share my love for woodworking with a broader audience, I have recently embarked on a new adventure of creating videos for my YouTube channel. Through these videos, I aim to inspire and educate fellow woodworking enthusiasts, providing insights into my creative process, sharing expert tips, and showcasing the beauty of the pieces I craft.
